First year: English Major, Fine Art Minor

What’s one thing you’re incredibly passionate about?

I love art! Drawing, sewing, writing, anything creative goes!

How long have you been debating for?

More than 5 years.

What led you to try debate for the first time?

I found this club when I felt so lost and the friends I've made here gave me a community that made me feel less alone.

I was supposed to moderate a debate in grade eight but someone's partner got sick so I was thrown in. I walked away with first place speaker and second place team. I've been hooked ever since. :)

What do you love most about UADS?

What’s one of your favourite UADS memories?

At McGoun 2023, we stayed in Emilie's family's basement and just hanging out and playing among us was so much fun.

**Using one word, what’s a topic you could forever debate about?**

Feminism

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to new debaters?

Speak up! Take up space and listen to the advice of our wise senior members.
