What led you to try debate for the first time?

I saw the booth at clubs fair and thought hey I like arguing with people, lets give this a try

What do you love most about UADS?

The people are amazing, I have made so many friends in this club

What’s one of your favourite UADS memories?

There are so many, i'm not sure I can pick just one but, being in the round where a certain person responded to a POI from two of the most experienced debaters by saying "I don't care"

Using one word, what’s a topic you could forever debate about?

government policy

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to new debaters?

Show up to tournaments, even if you feel out of your depth, the more experienced debaters all remember being novices and they are more than happy to help you and give advice. Plus tournaments are the best place to get really good at debating.

What’s one place you would really like to visit?

Nothing really comes to mind.

I really want to go on a roadtrip through central Asia, however there is a strong chance I would be kidnapped if I attempted it.
