How long have you been debating for?
2 years.
What led you to try debate for the first time?
Lots of things, the people are great and they make the meetings fun and engaging. But also just the debating aspect and how it makes your brain come up with different arguments and think on your feet.
I've always wanted to try debate in high school but I never got the chance to, so I decided to give it a chance when I went into university and immediately fell in love with it.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to new debaters?
I would be dead, cause I can't remember song lyrics for the life of me (quite literally in this example)
To not be discouraged. Because its so easy to feel intimidated when you first start debating. However, I want new debaters to keep in mind that we were all once beginners and as long as they continue trying they will improve as well.
What’s a moment in your life that has stuck with you?
I can't think of a specific moment that has stuck with me, but I think my university experience as a whole is something that will stick with me for years to come.
