Reading, archaeological excavations, debate, board games and cooking!

How long have you been debating for?

1 year.

What led you to try debate for the first time?

My father used to debate for his university in the 70s and 80s. He told me about his time debating and sometimes even practised debating with me. This led me to explore debating on my own!

What do you love most about UADS?

The mock debating sessions every week and helpful feedbacks!

What’s one of your favourite UADS memories?

When I became the novice finalist for Pacific Cup 2023

Colonialism

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to new debaters?

Just like any other sports, it takes time to improve in debating. So don't be scared if it's your first time debating. You got this!
